Experienced **Mechanic / Vehicle Technician**is wanted, to join an established Workshop in Stratford-Upon-Avon paying a salary in the range of £29,000 - £33,000 per annum plus bonus.

Our client has built up a strong reputation in all things mechanical, offering servicing, inspections, full diagnostics, MOT’s and repairs to a range of on and off-road vehicles as well as like commercial vehicles, making this role highly varied stretchingyour skillset beyond a standard mechanic / vehicle technician.

They are seeking a highly skilled **Mechanic / Vehicle Technician** to be responsible for light maintenance and mechanical repairs for a range of vehicles.

The successful **Mechanic / Vehicle Technician** will have the ability to carry out various repairs on a vehicle to a high standard. In return the **Mechanic / Vehicle Technician** will benefit from a permanent role within a varied company working a day shift Monday to Friday.

**Key Responsibilities of theMechanic / Vehicle Technician**:

- Working both as part of a team and alone you will be responsible for working on a variety of vehicles to carry out any repairs.
- Completing repair and maintenance of a range of road worthy and all-terrain vehicles including complex mechanical repairs such as exhaust system, engine, head gasket, gearbox and clutch repairs and replacements.
- Servicing and MOT preparation
- Coolant system tests and repairs
- Make sure the workshop is kept clean, tidy and safe, and all H&S practices are followed at all times
- Make sure all tools and machinery are kept in a fit useable state.

**The ideal Mechanic / Vehicle Technician**:

- Must have extensive hands-on experience of whole vehicles.
- Experience of complex mechanical repairs is essential
- Resourceful with a proven record of being able to solve problems.
- Ability to develop good technical solutions to build/ quality issues.
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge and practical understanding of H&S, C.O.S.H and environmental procedures

**Working Hours**:
Monday - Friday: 8.00am - 17.00pm

**Salary**: £29,000 - £33,000 + Efficiency bonus (OTE £31,500 - £35,500)
