Intern - Global Forwarding

C.H. Robinson is looking for an Intern to join the Global Forwarding team in Manchester.
As an intern, you'll have the chance to make an impact at a Fortune 200 global company. You'll assist some of the world's most diverse and well-known companies in moving their products across the globe. With the supply chain industry evolving rapidly, you'll be right in the middle of the action, gaining valuable hands-on business experience. This paid internship kicks off with an engaging on-boarding program, where you'll learn about C.H. Robinson, our technology, processes, and culture. Interns are fully integrated into our teams, providing you with the opportunity to learn about global freight services and assist shippers and carriers in optimizing their supply chains.

In this role, you will engage with peers on-site four days a week, igniting creativity and driving impactful results. With the flexibility for remote work one day a week, this role strikes the perfect balance between teamwork and autonomy.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:
- Work along-side industry professionals to learn internal business processes and supply chain best practices
- Build strong relationships internally across teams and externally with customers, carriers, and suppliers
- Learn and effectively use best-in-class technology systems, including our proprietary global supply chain platform, Navisphere®
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Required**:
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven, team environment, while also delivering independent results
- Relationship building skills
- Driven, enthusiastic, and highly motivated
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask
**Preferred**:
- Values a diverse and inclusive work environment
- Undergraduate education at a Junior or Senior level (pursuing a business, sales, marketing, supply chain, communications, or related major is a plus)
