**Overview**:
PNP is currently seeking a passionate Activities coordinator to join our team. As an Activities Co
- ordinator, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating engaging activities and programs that promote socialization, physical well-being, and mental stimulation for our residents within our homes environment This role presents a rewarding opportunity to enrich the lives of residents through creative and fulfilling activities.

**Duties**:

- Develop and implement a diverse calendar of activities tailored to the interests and abilities of residents
- Organize outings, events, and group activities to encourage social interaction and community engagement
- Collaborate with staff members to integrate activities for our residents.
- Maintain accurate records of activity participation and resident preferences
- Ensure the safety and well-being of residents during all activities
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that promotes resident involvement and enjoyment
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members regarding upcoming events and opportunities

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as an activities coordinator desirable, must have some knowledge and skills in working in a care environment
- Knowledge of dementia care principles and best practices
- Ability to plan, organize, and execute engaging programs for residents
- Strong communication skills to interact with residents of varying abilities
- Demonstrated creativity in developing innovative activities that cater to diverse interests
- Understanding of the importance of person-centered care in enhancing quality of life for our residents

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 16 per week
