**About Our Client**:
Our client are a specialist retail business, and are growing at an exciting rate with over 100 store locations nationwide. Due to business growth and internal promotion, they are seeking a Credit Controller to support a growing team to chase outstanding debts and build on client and customer relationships utilising AI technology to improve the customer collections experience.

As a Credit Controller working within the accountancy team you will be encouraged to have honest supportive conversations with important partners as well as the following duties:

- Producing debtor reports daily
- Dealing and resolving customer and client queries
- Liaising with relevant external bodies professionally where required
- Chasing outstanding debts
- Utilising appropriate technology to enhance account knowledge and customer behaviour trends
- Working within internal processes to pass of outstanding debtor accounts to relevant internal teams
- Working to a high level of customer service at all time
- Supporting with month end and year end account audit processes
- Adhoc support as required by the Financial Controller
- Cash allocations and updating in-house system

**The Successful Applicant**:
The successful Credit Controller will:

- Have experience dealing with overdue client/customer account management
- Be confident conducting difficult conversations where required
- Exposure to mulitple systems and keen eye for technology and process improvement
- Outstanding telephone manner & communication skills
- Maintaining an excellent level of customer serivce while being direct and honest
- Manage a high volume of work
- Experience taking payments over the phone
- Have a high level of customer service and process improvement experience
- Flexible approach to task as well as prioritising workloads
- Comfortable extracting data from Excel
- Friendly, approachable personality who can motivate themselves at all times to work remotely
