**Security Officer Nights Queens University Belfast**

The following opportunity is available to become a member of our Security & Safety team, you will ensure that exceptional service levels are provided to our client and customers and carry out the appropriate defined security processes and procedures in accordance with our policies, Vision and Credo.
- Mobile Patrol Driver SIA Door Supervisor License with First Aid required
- CCTV License & Driving License is desirable

**Main Purpose of Role**

**About The Role**
- Average 42 hours per week, Nightshift 4 on 4 off shift pattern
- Monday to Sunday including Bank Holidays 19:00 - 07:00
- £12.70 per hour

**THE BASICS**
- Reinforce our vision to always be our clients “partner of choice”;
- Ensure client premises and surrounding area is safe and secure by carrying out patrols internally and externally on site and permitting only authorised personnel;
- Proactively monitor our clients’ properties, respond to and identify suspicious activity and capturing footage of an evidential nature if required using a body worn camera;
- Report any suspicious items or activities;
- Maintain a log of all incidents and provide written and verbal reports to the Contract Manager;
- Advise Line Management of any security occurrence or system failure and identify and report any situation of potential risk or concern affecting security;
- Maintain, operate and test security equipment and report any failures or performance deterioration;
- Comply with SIA, Company and client operating procedures, working practices and protocols;
- Successfully have completed mandatory SIA Door Supervisor training with First Aid
- Adhere to performance standards which deliver client and customer expectations;
- Ensure adherence to all legal requirements;
- Actively contribute towards the achievement of our strategic and operational targets and overall business aims.
