People Safety Assistant

About the role
Being the go-to person for enforcement and managing the health and safety inbox. Supporting and liaising with the Leadership team and Technical Expects

You will be responsible for
- Liaising with Enforcement Authorities and managing the health and safety inbox.
- Assisting the People Safety team in the sharing & responding of information both to investor & other external stakeholder requests.
- Ensuring all Enforcement contact received is recorded on the Incident Reporting System and managed.
- Working with the CEC team regarding the Enforcement logging process, monitoring all enforcements ensuring great detail.
- Support with Material Risk Cases and the administration of the Material Risk Tracker, ensuring this is up to date and sent out periodically.
- Support with the Health and Safety, Fire and Petroleum Primary Authority
- Maintaining a central hub of information (SharePoint) encompassing a diverse range of content in all streams of People Safety accessible and ensuring document control.
- Maintaining relationships with a broad network of people within & outside of Tesco involved in People Safety
- Administrator for the Heads of Safety Periodic meeting and People Safety Governance meeting ensuring minutes are documented, stored, and distributed to the Leadership team.
- Following the Business Code of Conduct & always acting with integrity & due diligence

You will need
**Operational skills relevant for this job**:

- IT Skills: Advanced MS skills.
- Commercial awareness including understanding in all streams of People Safety.

**Experience relevant for this job**:

- Administration & analysis of information
- Knowledge of retail environment
