Established and highly regarding law firm based in North London looking to recruit a conveyancing paralegal

**Responsiblities and overview**

The Paralegal will be responsible for their own case load, to support the residential property department with the full range of conveyancing procedures from commencement to completion of transaction. Role also includes provision of secretarial/administrativesupport to the residential team.

Key responsibilities are:

- Drafting legal documents;
- Assisting with a large caseload;
- Supporting Fee Earners with the day to day running of files;
- Utilising case management software and familiarity with conveyancing case management systems is desirable;
- Dealing with ordering routine property searches;
- Dealing with post completion and exchange of contract matters;
- Completion of all relevant paperwork;
- Creating and amending property related documentation;
- Production of routine correspondence;
- Liaising with Solicitors and other estate agents/ mortgage brokers;
- Taking instructions from Solicitor for sale and purchase files;
- Liaising with Clients;
- Supporting the senior Conveyancer with their Conveyancing caseload;
- Carrying out property searches;
- Updating the case management system.

**Knowledge, Training and Experience Required Essential**:
Conveying experience obtained in a similar role.
Minimum of 2 years experience in working in law including Conveyancing experiencde
Knowledge of residential property processes and procedures
Efficient and well organised, with attention to detail.
Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
Adaptable and flexible with ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
Ability to prioritise heavy workload within tight time constraints under pressure.

**Education
**Degree or Paralegal qualification
