Senior Data Scientist for a Digital Marketing Start-Up based in London

Salary - £70,000 - £85,000 + stock/equity

My client is a well backed digital marketing start-up fusing digital marketing and data science. They are looking for a senior data scientist to join their technical team to bolster the data functions which are core to their business. With state of the artservices, they have performed incredibly in the covid market and are looking at huge expansion goals as the market opens up over the next 12 months.

You will have the opportunity to steps in your career as you will be an early member in their data team. As a senior data scientist you will be involved in internal and client facing projects, work with a multitude of languages and software, and build aneffective data science environment. As the team grows over the next 12 months you will help mentor more junior data scientists as the skill of the team environment is just as important as the technical environment in building a successful business.

They are looking for:

- 5 years' experience as a data scientist/analyst
- Strong understanding of core statistical principles, using them commercially
- Highly proficient in SQL, and a good understanding of relational databases
- Strong grasp of Python, R, or other programming languages (such as Scala, Clojure, and others)
- Interest or experience in digital marketing (specifically paid search/ads)
- Worked on client-focused projects as well as internal
- Cloud computing experience in AWS or GCP
