We are proud to be an independent retailer with great products and service at the heart of our business. The name Wrapped comes from Aussie slang meaning 'overjoyed' or 'delighted' and that's exactly how we want our customers to feel about the purchases they make with us, and the service you provide to them.

We currently have a vacancy for a permanent position (you must be available year round). You will have retail experience, a friendly demeanour and a 'can do' attitude. You must be reliable, flexible and able to work under your own direction. If you do not live within walking distance then dependable means of transport is essential.

This role is for three shifts per week, likely to beThursday afternoon, Friday morning or afternoon, and Saturday. There is the potential for overtime and extra shifts during busier times.

Main duties and responsibilities:

- Use your own initiative and take responsibility for the daily operation of the business.
- Act as a key-holder with responsibility for opening and/or closing of the branch.
- Provide exceptional customer service ensuring that customers are always acknowledged, assisted and advised, generating add-on sales where appropriate.
- Strive to exceed sales and performance targets.
- Ensure that cash and till (including 'end of day') procedures are followed accurately at all times.
- Watch for and recognise security risks and thefts, and know how to prevent or handle these situations (you will be given training).
- Accurately follow sales, returns and exchanges procedures.
- Accept and check all deliveries for accuracy, and prepare stock for sale.
- Have good knowledge of all products we stock so that you can make relevant recommendations to our customers.
- Maintain stock presentation, display, pricing and layout standards.
- Keep a tidy and professional personal appearance.
- Be friendly and communicate in a relaxed manner at all times.
- Behave as an advocate and promote the business in a positive light whenever possible.
- Keep the shop floor and stockroom clean and presentable.
- The right applicant may also be asked to keep our social media accounts updated or to take responsibility for designing graphics in-store.
- Assist management with other duties as required.

Pay: £12.60 per hour
