We are looking for a dedicated, organised, passionate individual to support TT Education - an award-winning school improvement company - in securing bids for contracted work. You will be working with our School Improvement Partners, Marketing team and Executive team in writing bids aimed at delivering excellence in education, both nationally and internationally. This role will potentially involve speaking to school leaders, senior representatives from organisations that have put contracts out to tender (e.g. MATs and LAs), and representatives of the DfE / national education authorities. It could also involve you being required to speak / present at key meetings.
Main duties include:
- Collating business-critical information
- Writing compelling bid sections; promoting the company and its benefits
- Showing and growing your understanding of education support
- Liaising with key professionals and stakeholders to maintain good communication
- Seeking out new bid / tender opportunities
- Building a network of links with regular tendering organisations (e.g. DfE)
- Setting out, with support, financial elements of bids / tenders
- Time management of projects and bids to specific deadlines
- Developing approaches to support future bid-writing opportunities
- Working professionally within an award-winning organisation
**Requirements**:
Essential:
- A strong, effective communicator, with excellent literacy and written communication skills ad the ability to coordinate multiple projects, see the big picture and provide useful advice and input across the company.
- Time and project management experience and demonstrable skills
- The ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
- Experience in assimilating, collating and summarising detailed information
- Self-motivation to seek and pursue new opportunities (examples required)
- A highly effective individual who has an eye for detail and is focused on improving business performance through exceptional project execution, reporting and evaluation
- A good understanding of the educational landscape of England
- Experience of working in education
Desirable:
- A good understanding of differences in education systems worldwide
- Existing links / experience of working with national education organisations (e.g. DfE)
- Excellent word processing and document management experience
- Experience at a senior level in education (England or elsewhere)
- Creative flair, and the ability to synthesise inputs to a coherent output
- A graduate degree or above
