Double Standard restaurant and bar has become best known for its famous burgers, DJs and boozy brunches, all enjoyed in the 70s-inspired bar space or in the sun-soaked terraces. We are now looking for a **Double Standard Waiter/Waitress** who will embody our ‘Anything but Standard’ ethos.

**Your role**

As **Double Standard Waiter/Waitress** at The Standard, London, you will become part of an exceptional restaurants team. You will be passionate about service, very well organised with an exceptional working knowledge of restaurant and bar operations, and the order of service.

You will have a deep appreciation and knowledge of our menu and bar offering to confidently host our guests and enhance their experience, so you need to be highly social, upbeat, and friendly; confident and able to handle pressure well; thrive in a busy high-volume, high-energy environment and manage multiple tasks and guests with ease.

**Do you have what it takes to be a Waiter/Waitress at The Standard**

While we take every detail of design and guest experience seriously, we do not take ourselves too seriously. ‘Standard People’ are at the heart of our brand; dynamic, vivid, and engaging.

Whilst prior experience as a **Waiter/Waitress** is essential for this role, you will also have an uncompromised and natural flair for service and be able to build genuine relationships with guests. You will need
- Prior experience as a Waiter/Waitress with the ability to engage and connect with a wide range of guests from different backgrounds, ideally gained in a similar ‘Lifestyle’ boutique hotel, or destination or high-quality restaurant or cocktail bar
- Confidence in restaurant operations and the order of service, with a passion for food and drinks
- Good level of drinks knowledge from cocktails to beers and wines to confidently make recommendations to guests
- Highly social, motivated, and pro-active; acting with professionalism and positivity in all interactions
- Available full-time with full flexibility to work Monday-Sunday with our Afternoon/Evening team (Thurs-Sat we operate a late-night licence till 1.30/2am)
- Prior experience using squirrel epos is advantageous however full training will be given
