We are currently recruiting a brand new role, Head of Strategic Delivery. This role will be a full time (37.5 hours per week) permanent role. Whilst this post is office based - we know that work is something you do not just a place you go. At Mencap we give office-based colleagues and teams more flexibility about where the work is done.

You will be someone who is passionate about driving and delivering change in a £200m turnover organisation that encompasses
- a large social care business
- charity campaigning
- education and advice services
- plus all the usual business support functions

You will be able to provide great leadership to several teams, including Project Managers and Business Analysts. You will work closely with senior leaders to shape and agree a portfolio of strategic change activity, that underpins the delivery of Mencap’s Big Plan.

Do you have the following key skills for the Head of Strategic Delivery?
- Good knowledge of project management and/or continuous improvement methodologies
- Process design/review experience
- Strong track record of personally delivering effective large-scale organisational change and projects that achieved tangible benefits in a complex organisation- Experience of running a Project Management Office- Please see the attached Job Description for more details.This role will close on Wednesday 29th March and interviews will take place shortly afterwards.
