A major infrastructure provider are seeking to recruit an Electrical Asset Engineer in Hampshire.

The purpose of the roles is to drive improvement in the reliability of the business' assets through comprehensive data analysis, legislative compliance monitoring and proactive asset optimisation in collaboration with operations and maintenance teams.

The Role

Reporting to the Asset Delivery Manager responsibilities will include:
Promoting a proactive mechanical maintenance strategies informed by regular monitoring of asset performance, asset information review, asset surveillance and KPI trending.

Assess the effectiveness of reliability and statutory maintenance activities, and develop new or improve current mechanical strategies

Champion legislative compliance in the following areas: PSSR, PUWER, LOLER, GSIUR; periodically review changes in legislation including new legislation applicable to mechanical assets.

Appraise the root cause of mechanical asset failures, analyse the repair frequency of asset specific corrective or reactive maintenance activities and articulate improvement plans.

Analyse the impact of obsolescence on spares availability as well as the impact of stock inventory / procurement lead time on maintenance planning and articulate improvement plans.

Experiecne Required

Suitable applicants will be educated to HND or Degree level in an electrical discipline or equivalent relevant industry experience

Experience in analysing, designing, operating, maintaining, managing or constructing assets

Knowledge of mechanical assets such as pumps, pressure vessels etc

Capable of effective cross functional stakeholder engagement.

This role is being offering on a hybrid working pattern.
