**Procurement Intern - Interiors**

Role Description

**Duration**: 3 months with option to extend into Junior Role

**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Interior Design Procurement Intern to join our team. The intern will support the procurement team in sourcing, purchasing, and managing relationships with suppliers for interior design projects. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in procurement within the interior design industry.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Assist in Sourcing and Supplier Management**:

- Research and identify potential suppliers for interior design materials, furniture, fixtures, and accessories.
- Maintaining and updating the supplier database with relevant information.

**Support Purchase Order Processing**:

- Create and process purchase orders for interior design projects.
- Support Procurement Manager with tracking and monitoring the status samples, orders and deliveries.
- Assist Procurement Manager with day to day running project.

**Coordinate with Interior Design Team**:

- Work closely with interior designers to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Support communication and collaboration between the procurement and design teams to ensure seamless project execution.

**Administrative Support**:

- Assist Procurement Manager with and administrative tasks related to the project and non-project related tasks.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings with the suppliers and team members.

**Qualifications**:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Basic knowledge of EstiMac (preferred but not vital).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of interior design principles and procurement processes is a plus.
