Drivers Mate

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist the driver with loading and unloading packages from the delivery vehicle.
- Ensure that deliveries are made in a timely manner, according to the schedule.
- Help with route planning, including confirming addresses and special delivery instructions.
- Ensure the safe handling of packages and products during transit.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that deliveries are made professionally and courteously.
- Help with the inspection and maintenance of delivery vehicles (e.g., checking vehicle condition before and after deliveries).
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and any issues encountered.
- Adhere to safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist in keeping the delivery vehicle clean and organised.
- Provide assistance with returns, exchanges, or other post-delivery activities as required.

**Requirements**:

- **Physical Fitness**: Must be able to lift and carry heavy packages.
- **Excellent Communication Skills**: Ability to interact positively with customers and team members in English.
- **Attention to Detail**: Must be able to accurately check delivery details and instructions.
- **Team Player**: Ability to work closely with the delivery driver to ensure smooth operations.
- **Safety Awareness**: Knowledge of safety procedures, including securing goods in the vehicle and safe manual handling techniques.
- **Flexibility**: Willing to work variable hours, including weekends and public holidays if necessary.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £80.00-£100.00 per day
