We are working with a global scientific organisation which has around 100,000 people working towards solving life-sciences problems through manufacture of pharmaceuticals, fine chemicals and equipment used in laboratories and hospitals worldwide. They areone of the best-known brands in their market. They are recruiting for their Warrington site for a colleague to work in a critical part of their goods-in operation.
**What you’ll do**:
This role will work broadly in material handling by which we mean you will be taking in chemicals which will ultimately form oligonucleotides. The incoming materials will be either in a raw or semi-finished condition and require some calculations for workingout quantities needed. This will directly lead to their being released to the internal inventory used on the site.
The processes of handling incoming chemistry will naturally be governed by Standard Operating Procedures and in compliance with the ISO standards for the site. This is a target driven area of the company as it forms a rate-limiting area i.e. without incomingmaterials not a lot can get done. Therefore there is a target set for accuracy and right-first-time delivery.
You will be using SAP and other business software and maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
Working hours are 8am-4pm this is a non-shift role.
