**Our in-store marketing team create and execute compelling POS marketing for our Supermarkets, Superstores and Asda Living which drives basket spend, engagement and shopper satisfaction.**

**Salary**: Up to £30K DOE and competitive benefits such as private health care

**Location**: Leeds, Hybrid working available

As Marketing Planner in the In-store Marketing team, you will coordinate the delivery of POS for General Merchandise categories including George Home, Asda Mobile and Asda Money. Managing activity to critical paths, reviewing briefs, creative and print management.

Excellent communication skills are essential for the role along with experience working with a design agency and/or have experience in a similar marketing role being preferable.

**What you’ll be responsible for**:

Liaising with internal (categories) and external stakeholders (print and design agency), you will be responsible for delivering and checking artwork and print briefs to ensure accuracy and right first time for stores. You will:

- Be responsible for critical path management across category activity to ensure activity lands right first time. Reporting via the RAG (red, amber, green) process.
- Manage the POS sign off processes internally with Senior Manager, categories and legal
- Work closely with Retail Ops to execute the campaigns in store with attention to detail and effective communication briefs
- Accurately complete marketing communications documents and Pocket Guides (weekly communication to stores)
- Liaise and manage briefs through agencies. Maintaining and managing agency relationships and processes.
- Day to day coaching of a team of one (POS Co-ordinator) to support in the execution of all activity
- Have a thorough understanding of the Asda toolkit and ensuring POS is right first time
- Work cross-functionally with other marketing teams, ensuring alignment across activity
- Support POS Manager - GM, Service & Projects with other projects
- Role model Asda Beliefs and demonstrate cultural awareness

**About you**:
You will need to be organised with a proven track record of operational executional excellence. You will possess:

- Proven track record of creative development and working with and managing agencies
- Project management experience
- Organisation and Critical Path management
- Proven track record of operational and executional excellence
- An understanding of retail and the ability to adapt plans and thinking
- Experience of working in a fast paced environment
