Are you an experienced Buyers Assistant looking for a new and exciting opportunity within a growing business? We are looking for a Buyer's Assistant to support the Buyer on a full time permanent basis, to join our well established friendly team in Barwell, Leicestershire.

The Buyers Assistant will be required to manage the company's inventory, order process and ensure orders are delivered on time.
- Analyse various purchase plans and identify the purchasing requirements.
- Placing orders with suppliers in the UK, Europe, and China.
- Confirming Pro forma’s and order confirmations.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure orders are confirmed accurately, manufactured & despatched on time
- Supply chain coordination, control freight globally for all consignments into the UK ensuring import paperwork is accurate and received on time.
- Arrange deliveries from port to warehouse and to ensure timely arrivals.
- Process Goods Receive paperwork

Regular and ad-hoc reporting
- To maintain pricing and product information within the system
- Inventory Control
- Any other duties

**Key Competencies**

Knowledge of Excel is essential
Strong communication skills
Very strong organisational & problem solving skills, with attention to detail.
Ability to work to tight deadlines
Build and maintain buying knowledge
Well organised and process minded
Friendly
Have previous experience of purchasing or supply chain coordination.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £19,812.00-£20,945.00 per year
