Creative Programme Administrator

Lakeside is the University of Nottingham's public arts provision with a year-round programme of exhibitions, live performances, festivals, workshops, talks and lectures open to everyone, including University staff, students and members of the public.
The role holder will support the Director, Head of Business & Development, Head of Music and the Learning Officer, providing effective administrative and related project support/co-ordination across the team. The role will suit someone who is passionate about the arts/creative industries sector, who enjoys multi-tasking, who can demonstrate strong organisation and planning skills and is articulate, with excellent written, proof-reading and numeracy skills. They will be a team player, able to demonstrate agility, and able to switch between tasks to assist senior staff, including working flexibly during evenings/weekends to enable programme delivery. They will have excellent communications skills to effectively liaise with all team members, visiting creatives, University staff, students and the general public. Few days will be alike; the role holder will enjoy variety and be able to use their initiative to problem solve.
The role is offered on a permanent basis. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours). You will be required to work evenings/weekends to support events/programme, with 1 months’ notice, averaging 1 day weekly. Job share arrangements may be considered.
