We are recruiting for one of our prestigious customers who are recruiting for a full time, permanent Senior Support Worker position based in Clacton on Sea paying £24,121. Working Monday
- Friday 0830-1630 with on-call duties plus direct shifts outside of office hours when needed

Responsibilities of the Senior Support Worker:

- Creating and maintaining person centred support plans Facilitating and setting up new care packages within the supported living scheme
- Ensuring high quality support is being delivered to each and every service user
- Managing a team of support workers
- Completion of audits
- Spot checks
- Working with external health care professionals
- Promote best practice and acting as a role model to colleagues
- You maybe required to lone work with service users and work as part of a team
- Being able to work both in an office capacity but a strong focus on being field based
- Assisting with training and induction for new starters
- Participate in the on-call rota
- Leading and participating in multi-disciplinary meetings
- Creating and maintain a workforce that feel valued and encourage contribution
- Ensure the care provider is adhering to contractual requirements laid out by CQC

Person Specification for Senior Support Worker:

- Experience working at Senior Support Worker or Team Leader level is essential
- Experience working with adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and challenging behaviour
- Full UK driving licence
- Able to work shifts, on-calls and weekends as part of monthly rota
- Experience writing and updating care plans
- Experience Line Managing a team
