An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and dynamic nurse to become part of our developing CAMHS Service inSwansea Bay.

The post holder will work within the Specialist CAMHS team, assisting the qualified staff in carrying out comprehensive assessments of need and risk.

The post holder will work autonomously with young people in a clinic environment and in the community, adhering to treatment packages developed by the band 6 and 7 Nurses/Practitioners in adherence of agreed protocols. The post holder will be responsible for effective communication of any changes noted of the clients, keeping the team updated regularly, and also keeping accurate and contemporaneous records.

The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that all policies and procedures are observed and meet the CTMUHB requirements in the Health and Safety Policy.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic motivated HCSW to become part of the developing Swansea Bay CAMHS Team. The post will be based in Neath Port Talbot Hospital covering the Swansea Bay area working with Children and Young People, supporting them and their families.

The role will include clinic based tasks as well as working within the community setting in their own homes and within the school setting. You will work closely with various disciplines including nurses, therapists and medical staff.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
