**Overview**

**Duties**
As a Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
- Providing companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for individuals in care.
- Preparing meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
- Administering medication as prescribed and ensuring adherence to care plans.
- Supporting clients with heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring safe practices are followed.
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members to provide comprehensive care.
- Documenting client progress and reporting any changes in health or behaviour.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in assisted living, childcare, nursing homes, or senior care settings is highly desirable.
- A background in nursing or relevant healthcare qualifications would be an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families.
- A patient and empathetic approach towards individuals requiring support.
- The capability to perform physical tasks associated with care work, including heavy lifting when required.
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and respecting the dignity of all clients.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £12.30-£13.33 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift

**Language**:
