We are excited to be offering three apprentice upholsterer vacancies to join a growing furniture manufacturer, Meridian Upholstery.

You will be undertaking a Level 2 Modern Upholsterer apprenticeship, where during your working time you will be trained to upholster beautiful pieces of furniture from start to finish, and not working on flow track. Meridian Upholstery are a high-quality manufacturer, and operate in domestic, contract, and marine markets, which means the products you make will vary - from sofas to cruise ship interiors

During your training time you will be learning additional upholstery skills, and industry knowledge which you will have time to practice and develop throughout your course.

Progression

Following your course you will be a valued member of the production team, where you will be able to provide suggestions for improvements, and interpret and create specifications.

Apprenticeship length: 16 months

Working Days: Monday - Friday

Working Hours: 07:50 - 17:00, with 30-minute lunch break plus two 15 minute breaks, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, 40 hours and 50 minutes per week

**Salary**: £10.20 - £12.41 per hour depending on age
