**WHAT TO EXPECT**

Corporate Security & Business Protection has responsibility for establishing the policies designed to protect Jaguar Land Rover assets. Those assets are defined as people as well as property; tangible or intangible, that the company or an individual owns. In protecting those assets Security and Emergency Operations must be managed effectively; the impact of not doing so can affect sales performance and ultimately the profitability of the Company.

As a Supervisor within the Security & Emergency Operations theatre of operations, you’ll lead a team of individuals who have a variety of contractual terms and conditions.

**Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities**:

- Having a robust understanding of process, offering direction & guidance
- Ensuring performance criteria is managed and delivered against requirements, through organising tasks and setting goals
- Being able handle challenge in the workplace, by upholding the vison of the business
- Being able to adapt quickly to requirements of the business (Mobility of Labour)
- Understanding the strengths and weaknesses of the team and the individual, using mentoring to develop as appropriate

**WHAT YOU’LL NEED**
- The following qualifications: Breathing Apparatus qualification underpinned by the National Occupational Standards, FREC level 3 or higher, Current BA & Driver Medical Certification, an up-to-date Fitness certificate, an in-date Fire Extinguisher qualification
- Excellent communication skills - both spoken and written
- Used to working in customer facing roles and being able to portray the ‘Right image’ for both JLR and Corporate Security & Business Protection
- Abe to advise, negotiate and influence at all levels in both public and business environments
- A good level of IT competence is required in programmes such as Google, MS Office and ability to work with internal software packages
- Any fire or medically related qualifications would be advantageous
