Amazon Delivery Driver

**Welcome to British Fleet Services (BFS)**

We are vehicle rental company and we work with several Delivery Service Providers (DSPs). We supporting the DSPs to recruit drivers and providing them with Vans, who then deliver for one the world’s largest online retailers, Amazon.

We are seeking hard working, motivated multi drop van delivery drivers with an immediate start. This is a self-employed position with fantastic earning potential, experience is a bonus however not essential as full training will be provided.

**Having your own Van is NOT a requirement.**

You will need a SWB (small van) or a LWB (large van) with courier insurance. If you don't have your own van, BFS can help you We provide van rental that cost you £220 - £275 per week which includes comprehensive insurance, servicing and maintenance. Don't worry, there is no upfront cost at all as our DSP can offer assistance with the deposit and support your start-up with van rental on your behalf, the costs would then be recovered through a repayment plan from your wages.

**On-boarding process**:

- Step 2: Drug & Alcohol test done and passed? Great. Your DSP will request a DBS criminal background check. This is a basic check that takes between 24 - 72 hours on average. With the background check passed, you will be invited for training.
- Step 3: Training will be provided prior to start. Each training day completed is paid and may last between 1 to 4 days dependant on the current requirement. Theoretical training is mandatory, and you may be asked to complete on-road training with one of the more experienced drivers.
- Step 4: Training completed? Last step is to collect our rental vehicle or using your own personal vehicle and start your career

- Performance based bonus from £7 - £27 per day
- No delivery experience required as full training is provided.
- 7-day operation, however, drivers can only work up to maximum 6 days a week due to health & safety regulations, especially when operating a moving vehicle.
- Deliver parcels (all shapes & sizes) approximately 100 to 150 stops per day.
- Attending your local delivery station to collect your assigned route at the specific collection time.
- Your assigned route that equates to a maximum of 9 hours, which includes the travel time from collection point to first delivery destination. Each delivery location, thereafter, including the time required to travel between, is all included the 9 hour limit.

**Requirements**:

- Proof of ‘Right to Work’ in the UK with no serious unspent criminal convictions
- Full UK/EU/EEA driving licence
- No more than 6 points on Drivers License
- Physically fit to meet the demands of a multi-drop driving role
- Hardworking, positive and a flexible attitude to work

Our DSP can also support your start-up with van rental on your behalf, the costs would then be recovered through a repayment plan.
- All vans have been installed with front and rear facing camera, which display on the monitor so you can always see what is behind.
- All insurances covered by BFS with the hire of the van (Goods in Transit, Public Liability and Comprehensive Insurance).

The vans that we supply are then yours to drive and look after whilst you rent it.

- Orpington, Greater London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Delivery driver experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Driving: 1 year (preferred)
