We have a fantastic opportunity for a Class 1 LGV driver to join our friendly team based at our Northumberland Depot in Berwick. Starting as soon as possible, this is a full-time, permanent role with 40 hours per week basic contract position, working Monday to Friday and reporting to the Operations Support Manager. There are also plenty of opportunities for regular overtime including occasional weekends, we have a variety of jobs that are also "working away" where you will be paid a competitive rate of pay and expenses. This is a vast and varied role. You will be a key member of the team, driving and operating one of our HGV vehicles. This is a physical role, involving driving, manual handling, etc. We are looking for a team player who likes a challenge, is hard-working and not afraid of physical work. No two days are ever the same About You Due to the nature of our business, we have an extremely high focus on health, safety and the environment and you must be the sort of person who will embrace this culture. As a driver for Augean, you are the face of the company, therefore you must be able to work using you own initiative, have good communication skills and be presentable. As the work is so vast and varied you will also require a flexible approach to working hours within the legal WTD and Drivers Hours limits.
