Nisbets currently have an exciting role to join our Business Change on a Fixed Term Contract for 6 Months as a Project Administrator.
The Project Administrator supports Lead Project Managers across multiple projects, ensuring they align with governance frameworks and maintain high standards. This role involves collaborating with Project Managers and key stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes of business change projects. The Project Administrator promotes project management best practices, reports on project progress to senior leaders, and manages the project request process and pipeline, working closely with IT.
For this role we can offer hybrid working after a period of training.
Key Accountabilities
- Project Coordination: Support Lead Project Managers in coordinating and managing multiple projects, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within scope.
- Documentation Control: Ensure all project documentation is properly filed, easily accessible, and regularly updated.
- Governance Compliance: Ensure projects align with governance frameworks and maintain high standards, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with Project Managers and key stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes, facilitating communication and resolving issues.
- Best Practices Promotion: Promote project management best practices across the organisation, providing guidance and support to team members.
- Progress Reporting: Report on project progress to senior leaders and stakeholders, preparing status reports and presentations.
- Request Process Management: Manage the project request process and pipeline in close collaboration with IT, ensuring efficient handling and prioritization of project requests.
- Meeting Coordination: Support the coordination of meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and tracking action items to ensure follow-up and completion.

Qualifications, Skills, Experience & Technical Capabilities
- Experience: Previous administrative experience, ideally within a project management or business transformation context.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with project governance, methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall), and best practices would be beneficial but not a pre-requisite.
- Stakeholder Management: Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders at various levels of the organisation.
- Multi-tasking: Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Analytical Skills: Good analytical skills to assess project risks and performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Planning & Organization: Excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Problem-solving: Effective problem-solving skills with a willingness to see through issues to resolution.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and partners through multiple communication methods.
- Teamwork: Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Learning: Motivated to learn new skills and technologies.
