We are looking for ambitious and experienced front-end developers to work on a mixture of greenfield and legacy systems. We are an established property portal ?written mostly in modern JavaScript using Next.JS, and so your expertise would be welcome in maintainingit ?whilst adding new features when required. Operating for over twenty years, Lonres is a B2B platform linking the U.K.s leading property professionals, providing up to the minute data that enables the sub agency marketplace. Our unique data is also providedto banks, investment houses, press, surveyors and academic institutions.
We are expanding our business to international markets and are also developing new products and services.
Required experience...
Be experienced with React, Redux, and optionally NextJS (SSR experience good to have);
Be able to write unit-tests, and be familiar with React-specific unit-testing, such as Enzyme or Jest;
Experience working with RESTful data services;
Manage code using version control (Mercurial mostly, but some Git);
Have a good set of interpersonal skills;
Be capable of mentoring and pair programming (previous experience nice-to-have);
Your responsibilities...
Improving customer experience and optimising performance;
Creating greenfield projects
Be able to manage and implement a project with timeframes;
Communicate clearly with other employees, including UX, designers, managers;
Ensuring the code you write is bulletproof (browser cross-compatibility);
Working together with the QA team to release your project(s);
