**Head Barista Coffee Trainer in Training**

Full-time, 40 hours per week - no evenings

Location: Trent Park, North London. With free parking, 10 mins from Cockfosters Tube (Piccadilly Line)

We’re looking for a Head Barista ready to take the next step, someone who loves coffee, thrives on sharing knowledge, and wants to grow into a Coffee Trainer.

This is a rare chance to shape a café from the ground up. Over the next three months, we’re upgrading our bar, relaunching our menu, and creating a new guest experience at our Trent Park café. You’ll lead the coffee program while developing your skills as a trainer. With full support to gain your SCA AST (Authorised Trainer) certification if you’re not already certified.

**What You’ll Do**

- Lead daily bar operations with excellence and creativity.

- Develop and QC coffee and non-alcoholic recipes.

- Deliver internal training sessions (Intro to Coffee & Barista Skills).

- Manage and maintain FoH equipment — cleaning, calibration, servicing.

- Oversee coffee and drinks stock, ordering and supplier relationships.

- Contribute to leadership meetings and service standards.

- Help design the training systems that will define how our team grows.

**Who You Are**

- An experienced, confident barista serving Square Mile and Primrose Hill Teas.

- Passionate about coffee, tea and drink innovation - always curious, always improving.

- A natural teacher who enjoys mentoring others and building team confidence.

- Organised and proactive with stock, equipment and systems.

- Reliable, upbeat, and collaborative.

(Competition wins are not required, but passion, skill and personality are a must)
