**Concept Resourcing are delighted to be working alongside an existing client who are after a Category Manager to join the team.**
- Managing several sites across the UK
- Adhering to relevant compliance such as health & safety
- Providing advice and guidance to stakeholders whilst working alongside 3rd party regional contractors
- Ensuring preventative and corrective maintenance is performed on time within guidelines
- Managing development and maintenance plans
- Ensuring quality standards and works are conducted to high standards
- Liaising with suppliers and customers to ensure rectification/queries are dealt with directly in an efficient manner
- Undertakes benefits tracking to monitor levels of procurement achieved with in client base.
- Managing maintenance reports
- Offers reliable expert advice on commercial and contractual issues from initial scoping through to contract award and contract management
- Looking after 1 direct report from a junior buyer
- Excellent communicator - both verbal and written
- Keen eye for detail
- Strong understanding of quality standards and regulations
- Up to date with health & safety regulations
- Highly organised with a pragmatic and analytical approach and an unwavering eye for detail
- Strong stakeholder engagement with the ability to advise and negotiate
- LEAN understanding
- Previous project management or property experience/quality surveying would be an advantage
- Background in property management/construction/quality assurance and surveying/facilities (desirable but not essential)
**This role will be remote based with the element of travel once/twice a month to the company's head office.
