**Job Type**:Full Time / Permanent / Mon-Fri / 40 hours

**Salary**:£22,672.00 - £29,556.80 per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

The nursery is s ituated in a recently refurbished nursery with bright and airy rooms, a designated Art Studio and a fantastic outdoor environment, including a separate Under 2’s garden, a veranda so children can learn and play in all weathers, and the nursery run a Gardening Club.

**What you’ll be doing**
- Lead, mentor and inspire a team to deliver exceptional care and education
- Ensure the learning environment provides consistent stimulation and engaging activities for the children, across both the indoor and outdoor areas
- Deliver and plan rich learning opportunities and exceptional care, to help all children to develop and meet their individual milestones
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents and/or carers, as well as other professionals, to meet the individual needs of each child
- Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding procedures and policies are followed at all times
- Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment on a day to day basis

**What we’re looking for**
- Full and Relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
- Previous experience working within an Early Years setting (ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator or similar)
- Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children
- Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents
- Ability to use a variety of techniques to clearly and successfully communicate with both children and adults
