We have an opportunity available for a motivated and experienced **Production Team Leader **to join our Luton team.

WCCTV was founded in 2001, in the UK and is the **market leader** for rapid deployment, mobile surveillance systems specifically designed to deliver video securely and efficiently via 4G LTE networks.

Earlier this year, the **Private Equity Firm LDC**, made a **substantial investment** into WCCTV.This investment will allow us to **rapidly scale and grow**in the UK and continue our services as a market leader.

In addition to this investment, we were also recently **named overall winners of the 100 Profit Track, “Ones to Watch” list in the UK.**

**Role Overview**:
To be responsible for the build of new Towers and upgrade of rental fleet towers and for the Quarantine of towers to ensure smooth delivery as required whilst ensuring a high level of quality.

**About You**:

- **Must be available to travel to Rochdale for a final stage interview with Production Manager.**:

- **Must be available to travel to Rochdale for a two-week induction programme.**:

- Electrical/Technical Qualification is desirable.
- Ability to coach and manage a small growing team.
- Energetic and enthusiastic with the ability to communicate at all levels.
- A ‘hands on’ approach with a ‘can do’ attitude.

**Key Duties**

**Production & Quarantine**
- Ensure the agreed quantity of towers required are built or upgraded within the agreed time scale.
- Manage the Quarantine Production Schedule daily and provide regular updates to the rest of the business with regards to progress / delays.
- Supervise the team members to ensure successful delivery of orders and to ensure efficient ways of working.
- Work with the Stock Controller and/or Procurement Team to ensure stock shortages are dealt with to ensure delivery of orders.
- Assist with the update of any changes to build and test instructions through the process engineer.
- Have full knowledge of the accurate and up to date product build procedure.
- Take remedial action to resolve issues in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Ensure finished units are quality checked and ready for dispatch despatch.

**Team Leader responsibilities**:

- Supervise operatives in the Quarantine department and tower build department by ensuring the teams are achieving their KPIs daily and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure the team Is always focused on ‘Procedures and Quality’.
- Identify training needs of Production Operatives in the Quarantine department and tower build department.
- Train and develop Production Operatives and apprentices in the Tower build & Quarantine department.
- Hold monthly team meetings and Quarterly 1-2-1s with direct report lines.
- Take remedial action as required if an individual’s performance does not meet the required standards.
- Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports on the department’s output and production work.
