**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Prepare and serve a variety of food items and beverages, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Operate coffee machines and other equipment to create high-quality drinks, utilising barista experience where applicable.
- Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe area, including tables, counters, and kitchen equipment.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, employing basic math skills for processing payments.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and efficient workflow during busy periods.
- Manage time effectively to balance multiple tasks while maintaining quality service.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a cafe or similar environment is preferred but not essential; barista experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is required to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Strong serving skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy setting.
