We are on the search for an enthusiastic, passionate, and dynamic individual to join us at YOTEL Manchester Deansgate as **Housekeeping Supervisor. **One of the latest additions to the YOTEL family, our 261-bedroom hotel is at the very heart of Manchester. MOTELY, our restaurant and bar - a character-filled space in the centre of Deansgate, is a melting pot for locals and explorers alike.

As Housekeeping Supervisor your job is to ensure that the assigned bedrooms and public areas are cleaned to YOTEL standards to achieve maximum comforts and efficiency for guests. To liaise with all hotel personnel to ensure that all guests needs are met.

**A snapshot of your key responsibilities**:

- Checking that all assigned rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to YOTEL standards and report accordingly.
- Liaison with all Hotel departments to ensure prompt and efficient response to all guest requests and requirements.
- Maintain room status to ensure fast and efficient information to other departments.
- Training and supervising all housekeeping team members and recording their progress.
- Maintaining cleanliness and upkeep of assigned areas.
- Control, maintenance, and inventory of all cleaning equipment on their floor
- General administration work as required.
- Encourage a team spirit amongst the housekeeping department.
- Cleaning of rooms when necessary.
- Assign daily work to team members.
- Supervision of lost property procedures.
- Organisation and co-ordination of staff incentive schemes.
- To assist in the day-to-day supervision and running of the department.
- To ensure compliance with legislation such as COSHH and Health and Safety.

**Key requirements for this role**:

- Experience in working within city centre hotel operations as part of a large team.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Supervisory experience.

**Salary**: £11.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
