A Payroll Administrator is required to join our well-established Company, who are leaders in our field with customers in the Multiple Retail, Retail and Construction sectors and based at our Head Office site in Bolton with the option of Hybrid working once fully trained.

**Main Purpose**
**Key responsibilities will include**:
- Manage compensation packages using payroll software
- Import/enter time and attendance information supplied from HR/Managers
- Calculate/process pay according to hours worked incorporating starters, leavers, and overtime
- Calculate/process bonuses and commissions when appropriate
- Manage and calculate taxes and deductions, reconcile payments made to HMRC on a monthly basis with RTI submissions
- Initiate periodical payments timely either by preparing and administering checks or making direct deposits through a bank payment system
- Update paper and electronic payroll records by entering adjustments on pay rates, employee status changes etc. Submit RTI submissions.
- Calculate/process unemployment and severance payments
- Deal with complaints and questions regarding payroll from employees and management
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in payroll
- Prepare and submit reports with payroll information to manager/HMRC/banks
- Prepare and submit P11Ds and other ad hoc payroll reporting outside the payroll software
**Skills & Abilities**
Previous payroll experience
Passionate about delivering a professional and friendly customer experience
Computer literate with excellent excel skills
High level of accuracy
Able to remain discrete at all times ensuring payroll details are kept confidential
