Purpose of the Role

To provide administrative support to Head of Supply Chain and Operation team. Ensure the supply management team provide a reporting and operational systems centre of excellence for the department.

To ensure GV Health supplies right products and materials to all customers at the right cost and at right time every time

Job Outline

As a Supply Chain Executive, you will liaise daily with suppliers and our Supply Chain team based in the Far East. You will report to the Supply Chain Manager and collaborate with our internal teams to complete your day to day work as well as support the ongoing projects for the development of our product ranges.

Inventory forecasting and demand planning will play a key part in your role, and so good IT proficiency is crucial. You will ideally have 2 or more years of experience in a Supply Chain role and be a confident communicator with company departments as well as suppliers to ensure you reach your goals.

Core Responsibilities
- Preparing forecasts for product demand for sign off by your line manager
- Analysing inventory run rates and summarising data for demand planning
- Understand business stock holding policies and align these with demand planning
- Purchase order processing across all SKU’s
- Support on imported stock arrangements, to include container planning and shipping, and capturing key financial data points to support the finance team with payment planning
- Manage stock and packing requirements for product BOMs
- Manage product codes and barcodes in the relevant databases and systems.
- Report on stock movements at multiple warehousing locations.
- Review, create, and escalate various reports.
- Conduct regular sample and quality checks to ensure product compliance and in line with product development needs.
- Maintain in-house records to ensure supplier compliance and to track key supplier activities.
- Assist with administrative duties as required

Special Requirements
- A levels / Graduate
- At least 2 years of supply chain experience, including knowledge of imports/exports and inventory management
- Knowledge of polymers and manufacturing (preferred)

- Strong analytical skills with excellent Excel proficiency
- Inventory control experience
- Data management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
