Eppendorf CryoTech is a leading life science company that designs & develops ultra-low temperature freezers for liquid handling in laboratories worldwide.

About the Role:

- Accountability (Deliverables / Results)_
- Ensure seamless, efficient and robust execution of end-to-end forward sourcing processes from early development until end-of-life and engineering change note management (ECN) for series sourcing aligned with global procurement standard
- Responsibility (Tasks / Activities)_
- End-to-end forward sourcing from pre-study to end of life including cost control, ramp up management, supply risk management, etc. in alignment with the material category strategy regarding quality, cost and with R&D and logistics
- Plan, implement and coordinate SCM concepts for an efficient realization of optimized material flow from supplier to production from early development phase until end of life
- Coordinate, execute and evaluate tenders
- Conduct supplier negotiations in regards to price, quantity and quality

**Requirements**:

- Degree in business / business engineering / mechanical engineering / chemistry / physics or similar
- Profound experience in international procurement / supply chain management or development
- Profound knowledge in procurement and logistics
- Profound experience in forward sourcing in the context of a high tech manufacturing corporation
- Strong technical understanding, ideally in electronics, polymers or mechanical processing
- Work experience in project management, ideally in agile development
- Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP
- Business fluent in German and English
- Analytical skills paired with a structured working method
- Strong communication skills and proficient appearance
- Willingness to travel paired with intercultural competencies
- Ability to clearly communicate complex matters to internal and external top management
