About the Role
Harrogate College is recruiting for a Carpentry and Joinery Tutor Assessor to join the Apprenticeship Team within the construction department.
Carpentry and joinery are an area of growth within the college and wider community that you would help support in its expansion.
A successful applicant needs to have experience of delivering Level 2 Carpentry and Joinery apprenticeship standard.
What You Will Do
- To ensure assessment and internal quality assurance processes are followed in accordance with the quality standard required by Awarding Organisations and College policies and procedures.
- To deliver quality training and assessment in work place environments using the most appropriate delivery methods in order to achieve successful outcomes for learners and employers.
- Effective and efficient management of appointments, schedule and learner caseload.
- To identify training needs for individual learners and plan and deliver training as identified.
About You
- Carpentry and Joinery industry experience.
- Experience of developing assessment and learning resources (including use of IT)
- Assessor's qualifications is desirable.
