Here at GXO, we’re looking for a **full-time, permanent** **Catering Assistant** to join our team in **Leyland**. You will be working 37.5 hours per week, on an ‘**Any 5 days out of 7’** pattern, covering the hours of **06:00 to 14:00**and **10:00 to 18:00**.

**What you’ll do on a typical day**:

- Create high-energy, nutritious meals to keep our team fuelled and ready for the day
- Perform cleaning and hygiene tasks as required by HACCP food safety policy, including plate and pot washing
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations, including preparation tasks, replenishment of counters and special offers, and vending cleaning and replenishment
- Complete any food safety documentation as required and undertake tasks to assist management within the scope of the role

**What you need to succeed at GXO**:

- Ideally, you’ll have previous experience in a similar role
- An understanding of food safety standards (HACCAP)
- Flexible in your approach - there may be an opportunity for overtime
- Excellent customer service skills
