I am looking for a Blending Plant Operator to work nights and days for my client, this will be a temporary to permanent position.

This will be a new role for my client. They are based at Long Bennington (near Newark) who manufacture 22,000 ton off dry and semi-moist pet food products, per year.

This role is to keep their factory blending plant machinery running. It is a repetitive and physical role which will entail lifting 20kg bags of produce and putting this into their blending machine which turns the produce into powder.

My client is looking for someone that is flexible, can work well in a team and on their own. Someone who is passionate about their work and cares about the people they work with and the company that they work for. Full training will be given for the first 2/3 months.

You will require your own transport due to location.

**Hours**

You would be working 4 shifts Monday to Friday which would be as follows:

- The evening shifts would be for 2 or 3 nights - 22:00 - 06:00 (finishing on a Friday morning)
- Then a morning or afternoon shift for 1 or 2 days - 06:00 - 14:00 OR 14:00 - 22:00

**Pay**
- Pay is £13 per hour
- There is a shift allowance for the night shift

**Tasks will include**
- Manually lifting 20kg bags.
- Loading the blending plant machine (10 bags per hour) and on time.
- Observing the machinery to ensure there is no faults and that it is running smoothly.
- Immediately reporting any faults.
- Be adaptable and flexible in approach to work to meet operational requirements.

**Essential Skills for the role**:

- Experience as a Warehouse Operative or factory
- Previous experience within the food or FMCG industry would be beneficial but not compulsory
- Have a flexible attitude and enjoy working in a team environment.
- Able and happy to work on your own.
