We're looking for someone who can be a key member of our planning team helping us to make sure all our deliveries are completed on time as well as supporting the rest of our transport planning team.

You'll need to be someone who can multi task, proactively problem solve and thrive on a challenge. The role itself can be fast paced; some days are straight forward, others might be more demanding and need you to think on your feet. You'll build effective relationships with our drivers, customers and other network partners to enable us to deliver the high levels of service that are expected.

Transport experience isn't necessary. Organisation and communication skills are though, as is the desire to succeed and be a true team player.

**Main responsibilities**:

- Efficient local delivery operation
- Driver route adjustment and load allocations
- Working with the warehouse team to ensure all pallets are loaded and scanned
- Drivers briefed with all relevant paperwork with the objective of ensuring all freight is delivered on time and in full
- Supporting the traffic office with Palletline network delivery issues, collections planning and general haulage operations.
- Problem solving transport issues in a fast-paced environment
- Keep accurate and complete records of issues dealt with in the relevant systems

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday work
- Hours will be 5AM - 2PM

**Salary**: £28,000.00 per year
