Head of Operations

A leading FMCG business are looking for a Head of Operations to lead their busy operation in Chepstow.
You will be responsibile for:
1 Manage the commercial operation of the depot to ensure the profit budget target is met or exceeded
2 Manage the depot management team to drive operational efficiencies, service excellence and productivity in order to deliver a profitable service to customers and meet KPIs
3 Demonstrate the expected behaviours and standards of a people leader to recruit, engage and develop the capability of our people and generate the right customer service culture for our business.
4 Support and work with the sales teams in order to ensure the development and retention of accounts and maximise the commercial opportunities available
5 Manage the relationships with the Central departments to enhance internal service standards and facilitate service through to the customer.
6 Ensure that good management practice and all processes are followed in order to ensure the health and safety of our employees and customers.
7 Oversee that all legal regulations and company standards are adhered to at all times to ensure the compliance of the depot. 8 Health and safety accountabilities
