As part of our Reshaping EOC, a new role of EOC Senior Clinical Leader was established and an exciting opportunity has become available to join the team across both Nottingham and Lincolnshire EOCs.

The role will be accountable to the EOC Head of Clinical Services but will also form a key, professional relationship with the EOC Senior Manager (Clinical).

You will be responsible for establishing and embedding a supportive, motivational and compassionate leadership culture across the station based operational teams. This is a key leadership role in supporting EMAS to deliver its vision and values.

This role will support the Trust's approach to clinical leadership, quality assurance and quality improvement and identifies priorities in the five domains of quality, aligned with the Care Quality Commission regulatory framework; caring, responsive, effective, well-led and safe.

You will be responsible for the direct clinical development, support, supervision and leadership of a team of Emergency Operations Centre clinicians. This includes staff in a mentorship period and staff requiring additional support and / or supervision. The EOC SCL roles will be allocated to defined areas and groups, working closely with Clinical Workforce Managers (CWMs) to deliver the clinical and quality metrics and outcomes. The EOC SCL will be responsible for the clinical elements of the appraisal for clinical staff, working in conjunction with the CWM team as part of the EOC Clinical Leadership Team.

The duties and responsibilities of the post will be undertaken in accordance with the policies, procedures and practices of the Trust, which may be amended from time to time. Patient Safety is a key priority for the Trust.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you are fully compliant with EMAS policies and procedures in respect of patient safety, for example Risk Management, Infection Prevention and Control, Safeguarding children and vulnerable adults.
