**Job Title**: Sustainability Consultant (Energy Modelling)
**Salary**: Up to £40k +Benefits
**Location**: Manchester City Centre
A leading multi-disciplinary consultancy is searching for a sustainability consultant who is looking to specialise in Energy Modelling and Building Physics.
Based in the heart of Manchester, you will be exposed to working on fantastic commercial office, residential, educational, healthcare and retail projects across the UK and the EMEA. Surrounded by a team of talented engineers and designers and supported by an Associate Director with over a decade's experience in the field, it is a fantastic place to learn, develop and grow into leader in an even more niche aspect of sustainable design.
**Responsibilities**
- Undertaking dynamic thermal modelling (IESVE) analysis including: Part L Assessments, Comfort Analysis (TM52/59), detailed operational energy assessments (TM54/NABERS), natural ventilation studies & daylighting
- Undertaking studies relating to BREEAM Credits including: thermal comfort, low and zero carbon technologies, reduction of emissions, predicted operational energy and daylighting
- Preparing Energy & Sustainability Statements for developments
- Undertaking domestic and/or non-domestic EPCs
**Key Requirements**
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in building physics, energy modelling, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge IES VE
- Knowledge of sustainable building design, green building certification programs (e.g., LEED, BREEAM), and building codes and standards
