A fantastic opportunity for a vastly experienced R2R professional has recently opened up here at Lonza. We’re looking for someone who is pro-active and solutions driven with a genuine passion for operational excellence. The R2R SME will support the design and deployment of key record-to-report processes. In addition this person will have a comprehensive understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements associated with R2R and be able to lead conversations with key stakeholders to successfully drive all of the above.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Support global vision, road map and objectives for the end-to-end process and technology in alignment with global Head of Global Program Management & Digital transformation & Senior Stakeholders
- Create strong business partnering with Corporate Accounting and the Finance function in general. Conduct regular reviews with global business stakeholders to align process strategy and drive change and user adoption of standard processes
- Drive culture of continuous improvement through best practice sharing and visible hands-on leadership. Identify and support process re-engineering and continuous improvement initiatives in R2R processes and drive high quality service delivery from the Shared Services Center(s)
- Act as a change agent to ensure that change process is deployed with mínimal disruption and in a sustainable manner across the Organization
- Work with other areas of Finance to identify and support Process Re-engineering and Continuous Improvement across all Lonza Finance
- Build a strong internal stakeholder support environment based on cross functional collaboration and stakeholder training programs
- Work with stakeholders across the end to end process, to review staff activities and provide the support needed to ensure appropriate quality and staff productivity
**Key requirements**:
- Energetic, proactive and self-motivated qualified finance professional with the capability to build strong internal and external relationships with stakeholders.
- Vast Record to Report/Controlling experience in a large matrix or global organization.
- End-to-End R2R process expertise
- Able to contribute and/or lead systems based projects
- Ability to work well across culturally diverse teams and be able to influence discussions and direction
- Ability to remain objective & independent whilst under pressure
- Meticulous with strong analytical skills
- A natural problem solver with the capacity to solve problems across a number of systems and processes, identify options and propose/implement a reasoned solution
- Drives performance through relevant metrics
- Proven, demonstrable experience of implementing business change across different national and business boundaries.
