Boeing Defence UK (BDUK) is a subsidiary of the Boeing Company and currently employs over 1,500 people in the UK. BDUK is responsible for delivering several exciting contracts to our UK defence customers including many training services. As the company grows we have a need to expand our current Training Capability in the Fixed Wing domain. This is an exciting time to join a growing team of training experts. This is a full-time role based in Lossiemouth.

You will be working in a highly regulated and safety conscious environment and as such everything you do will be to the highest standard and always in compliance with company procedures and applicable regulations.

**Role and Responsibilities**:

- Deliver training for E-7 Maintenance (Avionic) training in accordance with company standards, customer requirements and CAA/MAA regulatory guidelines
- Develop and conduct Maintenance (Avionic) instruction
- Develop training tools and techniques to support customer requirements
- Evaluate/examine the competence of students in accordance with company and customer regulatory requirements
- Identifying and correcting conditions and behaviours that affect employee, public, and customer safety; upholding safety standards; demonstrating proactive safety culture leadership

**Additionally**:

- Conducts analyses to evaluate customer technical training needs to determine appropriate training content, objectives and design
- Establishes processes for identifying training content and evaluating training effectiveness. Uses specialised software technology to research, configure, maintain, update and develop new and existing media and materials
- Ensures accuracy and quality of training products
- Coaches and develops others
- Provides training services that meet the highest technical and quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies and processes and embrace first-time quality as a way of life.
- Experience of maintaining Multi-engine narrow or wide bodied commercial or military aircraft and have provided instruction on the same.
- RAF or civilian experience of developing and delivering aircraft maintenance training through an Operational Conversion Unit or equivalent civilian training establishment
- 5+ years' experience in aircraft maintenance and modification
- 3+ years' experience conducting technical training and/or performing instructional system development.
- Boeing 737 experience, either military derivative or civilian equivalent (desirable but not essential)
- The ability to communicate with technical personnel from multiple skill areas, cultures and functions.
- Skill and ability to: collect, organise and analyse data; summarise findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources
- Other appropriate background, experience and qualifications may be deemed acceptable

**Security Clearance**: This position requires the ability to obtain a UK security clearance for which the Government requires UK Citizenship
