Are you an SIA Licenced Security Officer looking for a new opportunity? SGC Security Services are hiring SIA Licenced Security Officers to work on a reception as part of a team, at a medium-secure facility that provides rehabilitation to its residents. Due to the nature of the contract, you must hold a valid SIA DS licence and have at least 1 years' experience. You must be polite, well presented, well-spoken, and friendly yet assertive as you will be required to interact with the general public, staff,and service users. As an SIA Licenced Security Officer, you will be responsible for: - Body and bag searching of all visitors, patients, and staff - Foot patrols - 12-hour shifts - Responding to incidents - Providing a polite, visible, and helpful uniformed presence This SIA Licensed Security Officer role will involve patrolling by foot and standing for long periods of time, therefore you must be physically fit to undertake these duties. You will need excellent communication and report writing skills to assist you with your day-to-day duties to deliver excellent guarding and security services in accordance with contract requirements. **Benefits**: - £11.00 per hour - Access to online training - Full training will be given (specific to the role) - Uniform provided This role requires that you hold an SIA licence and have had experience in working around vulnerable people. **Essential Skills**: - Hold a valid SIA Door Supervisors Licence - Have good communication skills - Be able to show empathy and patience when interacting with vulnerable adults - Have a caring, "can do" attitude **About Company** Since 2006 SGC Security Services have been delivering Security services in partnership with its clients both in the UK and Internationally.
