This role will be integral to the Central Team and will involve general office administration and the welcoming of guests to our central office. This role will also have a focus on arranging and planning meetings and training at our central office or other locations in the Trust, where necessary.

This role will initially be on fixed term contract; however this unique opportunity will provide the successful applicant a clear career pathway where lots of opportunities will be presented. Administrative experience and IT skills are not essential but a desire to learn and succeed is

**KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Receive and relay promptly, any telephone or other messages, dealing as appropriate with routine enquiries.
- Under the direction of the Operations Manager provide administrative support including course bookings, processing expenses/mileage etc.
- Diary management of SLT, co-ordinating meeting dates and booking accordingly.
- Creating, editing and publishing the trust bulletin.
- To be responsible for monitoring and ordering office supplies.
- Efficient management of the Trust calendar.
- Attend meetings at the request of SLT and take accurate minutes/record actions, in a timely manner send those minutes/actions to the meeting Chair for approval and then disseminate to attendees as needed.
- Receive and welcome internal/external visitors in a professional manner, booking meeting rooms, ensuring correct room set up, including full IT/AV set up/checks and refreshments as required.
- Daily collection, sorting and distributing post as necessary and post outgoing mail.
- Liaise with schools, headteachers, directors/trustees, local governors, staff and key bodies.
- Develop and maintain accurate core digital and hard copy filing systems, as required/directed.
- To format and upload Trust policies as requested by leadership.
- Assist with other Trust wide events such as celebrations, events and conferences.
- Assist in organising and delivery of any school appreciation gifts, including corporate Christmas cards.

**TRAINING PROVIDED**

The Business Administrator Standard aims to equip individuals with highly transferable knowledge, skills and behaviours that can be applied across many different sectors. In addition to this, business administrators will develop the necessary behaviours and workplace experience to support their progression towards management responsibilities.

It takes approximately 18 months to complete the apprenticeship and you will receive a blended method of learning including Tutor Coach visits, remote learning and attending online workshops, working towards achieving nationally recognised qualifications in:

- Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship standard
- Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
