Role: PART TIME Assistant Accountant - TEMP TO PERM

**Salary**: Full time equivalent £27K

Location: Sidcup - x2 days in the office (Tuesday and Thursday) x1 day WFH

They only work in the office on Tuesdays and Thursday and provide lunch when in and there is also a travel allowance for staff that attend the office 2 days per week for a month (£100 per month).

Provide a laptop/keyboard/mouse and working from home allowance (£100 when start and £150 when pass probation and after that £250 per year

Hours: Flexible working practices including core hours of 10-4 if the 8 hours per day are done

**YOU NEED TO BE IMMEIDATLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS ROLE**
- Processing of Purchase invoices and responsibility for the Purchase ledger, ensuring invoices and expense payments are processed in a timely manner
- Preparation of Suppliers and external consultants accounts reconciliations
- Processing of monthly Sales invoices
- Preparing payment run schedules on a weekly and/or monthly basis in multiple currencies
- Allocation of cash receipts from bank statements and remittance advices
- Preparation of Bank Reconciliations in multiple currencies (GBP, USD, AUD, EURO and KES)
- Preparation of monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations, including aged creditors, accruals, pre-payments, and fixed assets
- Month end reporting - preparation and posting of monthly prepayments, and accruals for operating costs
- Assist in the preparation of monthly Management accounts together with the accompanying variance analysis
- Assist with the reconciliation and preparation of VAT returns
- Provision of Project financial reports to the Project Management team
- Assist with projects reconciliations and closure reports
- Provision of financial analysis and support to colleagues within the company
- Preparation of monthly petty cash reconciliation
- Other Ad hoc tasks as required by the Finance Manager Qualifications and Experience Essential

Qualifications and Experience required:

- Minimum of 2 years' experience working within a busy Finance Department
- Excellent numeracy skills
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
