We are looking to recruit a **Learning Support Assistant** to work in Hucknall. This role will involve supporting young people with **Autism** and **Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs**.

**Responsibilities**:

- To support the pupils in and out of classes
- Every day is different, and you will be supporting pupils in classrooms, around our school site and also on activities and trips as well as with vocational learning.
- Supporting the Teachers and instructors in the delivery of lessons and activities.
- To be part of promoting safeguarding and pupils welfare which is incumbent on all staff.
- Supporting **behaviour management** and student welfare - working 1:1 or in small groups when required.

**Requirements**:

- 1 years experience working with **SEMH/ Autistic students**:

- from support worker/youth work/ voluntary work
- High standard of report writing.
- Ability to interact effectively with staff and students.
- DBS on the update service (Desirable).

**Salary**: £82.09-£92.67 per day
